Farmers’ Market in Franklin MA….We Support Our Local Farms.

Every Summer, starting at the beginning of June and running through the Fall,  the area farmers set up their own stands on The Town Common where they offer their fruits and vegetables for sale.  This event is held every Friday from noon to 6:00pm throughout the growing season.

I shop at this Farmers’ Market every Friday, and I have to say that it continually improves and there are more products available as the season progresses.  I love these farm products.  My routine is to go from table to table and buy some of everything.

Today the blueberries, peaches and nectarines were fantastic.  My favorite vegetables are the baby cukes, cherry tomatoes, garden lettuce and red potatoes.  Their garden broccoli is spectacular when in season.

The local farms participating today were:

Grateful Farm in Franklin MA

Akin Bak Farm in Franklin MA

Cook’s Valley Farm in Wrentham MA

Hoffman’s Farm in New Braintree MA

Tangerini Farm on Spring Street in Millis MA

Nourse Farm in Westboro MA

Fairmount Fruit Farm  885 Lincoln Street in Franklin MA

Nonnie Roses Bakery with homemade pies, breads, blueberry cakes and homemade pizza

The Farmers’ Market in Franklin MA is a great place to purchase fresh farm produce and support our local farmers.  Of course, it’s also another great opportunity to network  Everyone likes to be included in photos for a Friday afternoon blog, and I always ask if they would mind my photographing them with their produce.

I also suggest that they do a Google search for Farmers Market Franklin MA to see their photos.  I hope they like what they see!!

About susanmorrison

After living in Walpole, MA for many years, our family was transferred to the west coast when I was a senior in high school. In 1983, I graduated from Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California. I am also a 1987 graduate of Providence College with a major in liberal arts and a minor in business administration. I bring to the table many years of sales experience beginning with thirteen years in Corporate Sales at Delta Air Lines. I'm the mother of three children and I'm very active within the Franklin, MA community. I am also a cancer survivor and support the American Cancer Society Charities.

My husband and I have built five homes and I've lived in a variety of other locations including Toronto Canada, Irving Texas and my current home in Franklin, MA. As a result of all my moving around, I came to the conclusion that I was an expert at moving...why not become an expert on the other side of the table? I earned my real estate license in 2004 and believe that I have found my true niche'. I can empathize with my clients on a variety of levels; whether they are buying or selling. And, like so many other good realtors out there, I believe that possessing good communication skills is one of the many keys to success.
